The FC switch present within Toyota VAF (Vane Air Flow) meters is a federally required safety cutoff. When the vane closes, but the EFI relay is still powered, the power is cut to prevent fuel leakage in the event of an accident.

Simply bypassing this safety is illegal and may result in injury or death.

MAFT Pro Information: There are 7M-GE specific versions of the MAFT Pro software to accommodate control of this safety while maintaining its functionality. In this case the FC connection at the AFM harness is supplied a signal from pin 4 of the MAFT Pro's 10 pin harness (green). For more info see HERE.
